Main Thread LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates www.usekipta.com (the “Site”), the website for Kipta. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit the Site or contact us through it.

We are based in the United States, and the Site is intended for businesses there. This Privacy Policy covers the Site only, not the Kipta app.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

We may collect the following types of information:

• Personal Information: Your name and work email address. Both are required to request a walkthrough, and we also receive them when you email us.
• Firm Information: Your firm and firm type, both required to request a walkthrough, and, if you choose to give them, your firm’s headcount and how many reports it writes a month.
• Emails and Attachments: What you write to us and any files you attach, such as past reports. Reports can contain your clients’ details, so please redact anything we do not need to see.
• Location Data: Approximate location (country, region, and city) derived from your IP address.
• Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, the site that referred you, links clicked, and how quickly pages load.

You do not have to give us any information, but we will request certain information to arrange a walkthrough.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To arrange and prepare your walkthrough, including setting up a sample of your report in Kipta from what you send us
• To follow up after your walkthrough, including setting up Kipta for your firm if you choose to use it
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• To send you marketing communications (with your consent)
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Site, and to analyze how it is used
• To comply with legal obligations
• To detect, prevent, and address security issues, spam, and fraud

We share your information with the following third-party service providers, which process it on our behalf to provide their services to us:

• Formspree: Receives walkthrough requests sent through the form and passes them to us. Privacy policy
• Google Workspace: Our email. It holds the messages and attachments you send us. Privacy policy
• Vercel: Hosts the Site and measures traffic and page speed. Privacy policy

Each provider has its own privacy policy describing how it handles information.

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable measures to safeguard your information, such as encrypting it in transit (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

• Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Stop sending you marketing communications (you can also unsubscribe at any time)

Do Not Track: some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not respond to them.
